We’re down to three kittens. We started out with six little furballs. Two found loving forever homes and one died. The grief from that sudden tragic loss gnaws at me to this day. The deep sadness that alluded me when Oreo died washed over me like a tsunami. I’m not ready to disclose the details. Maybe one day. Until then, it stays in my hurt locker.
